I’m a pretty big fan of rusty backgrounds in photos. And, you’ll notice in the ceremony photos down below, Jonathan’s beard is the same exact colour as all this rust so it worked out as a perfect accent colour! I love it when things come together like that!
Lauren & her dad MADE this edison light. How awesome! And now it’s in the newly-wed’s new apartment.
Yes. A FOOD TRUCK for the reception dinner. It was INCREDIBLE!
Lauren’s mom say Jonathan before the ceremony and started to cry and gave him a tight embrace saying “Lauren is so blessed to have you.”
OH MY GOSH. That’s what I’m talking about. What a fantastic and safe feeling for a mom to have about her daughter and new family.
I had been watching a lot of Arrested Development before this wedding….you know how Lucille Bluth does that wink where only her eye closes and the rest of her face is frozen? It’s so awesome! We were trying to re-create that in this photo:
See how the rust in the background looks great with Jonathan’s beard??
Lauren’s range of facial expressions while Jonathan reads his vows to her are PRICELESS.
Stay tuned for Part II which is full of sun-soaked, backlit, lens flarey portraits of Lauren & Jonathan!
Your passion for what you do really shows through your work! These are beautiful!
Thank you Elyse!!
Hi Sara! I usually don’t have time to look at all your weddings ~ but you definitely enticed me on this one. Outstanding as usual! You are AWESOME!
love all the details, like the one with the little girl’s shoe on the floor. hehe 😉

O man these brought tears to my eyes for sure. You can feel the love, and she is a stunner of a bride! I want to get tats just so I can rock ’em in a wedding gown one day.
