It’s story time. Hilarious, hilarious story time.

This story begins a few months back…I was helping a friend paint his new apartment and he stayed at my house that first night, while he let his apartment air out and dry.  It was late at night by the time we were done painting, and we were both covered in grey paint.  We got back to my house and I let him shower first. I didn’t find this out until much later, but while he was in the shower (drinking a beer), he had the genius/hilarious idea to refill his glass PBR bottle with shower water, pop the cap back on, and put it in my fridge.  His thinking was: Sara Renee will have a friend over, tell them to feel free to grab a beer from the fridge, and  they will unsuspectingly drink old shower water. Tada!

I find out about his little prank about a month later and, truth be told, I was very impressed.  Impressed as I was, I made a mental note to take the beer out of my fridge and dispose of it. But, you know how life is…it was something I would only remember when I was about to fall asleep, or was out grocery shopping. I never remembered to do it when I was at home in my fridge.

And so, fast forward to a few weeks ago….
My best friend/neighbor has a key to my house.  It was a Thursday evening and I was out with Lanie and Sarah on a shadow session/photoshoot. My best friend wanted a beer, but didn’t want to go to the store so she let herself into my house to take one. HILARITY!  These are the text messages I received.

She had no idea that she was drinking shower water that was months old. Did I pee my pants when I got these texts? Maybe! I definitely was consumed with laughter and mirth. I mean, the funniest part is that she she let herself into my house to steal a beer and then…voilà! PRANKED!!!!  It worked out better than I ever thought possible.

And so, hats off to my friend Adam for playing the prank. Genius.
